Why Norwegian businesses choose factory-direct

Norway has one of Europe's strongest sustainability and quality standards cultures. Oslo is home to global energy, maritime, and shipping companies. Bergen drives the west coast industrial economy. Norwegian businesses expect OEKO-TEX certified materials and ACCORD-certified factory ethics as a baseline — and they expect exactly what they approved to arrive on time.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 — baseline, not optional

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification is available across our full cotton product range and is noted on every quote. For Norwegian companies with sustainability programmes, ESG reporting requirements, or public procurement processes — this is a baseline standard, not an add-on. ACCORD ethics certification covers all our Bangladesh factories. Documentation is available for Norwegian CSR and procurement approval processes.

0% customs duty from Bangladesh to Norway

Norway maintains its own LDC GSP scheme, separate from EU EBA but with the same effect. Bangladesh garments enter Norway at 0% duty under Norway's preferential LDC tariff — compared to standard rates of 6–12% on equivalent products from China. Norwegian moms (MVA at 25%) applies at import. Your quote includes the full landed cost in EUR with a NOK reference.

NOK pricing with EUR binding price

All quotes are in EUR. NOK equivalents are provided for reference at the EUR/NOK rate on the quote date. The EUR amount is the binding price. Norwegian moms (MVA at 25%) is noted clearly on every quote and applies at import via your Norwegian customs process — it is not added on top of our price.

3D approval — what you sign off is what gets produced

Every order starts with a photorealistic 3D render built to exact specification: Pantone reference, GSM fabric weight, embroidery placement. You approve it before we cut a single piece. If it is not right, production does not start. That render becomes your permanent tech pack — consistent quality on every reorder, with no reliance on an intermediary holding your specification.

Norway: energy, maritime, hospitality, and outdoor

Oslo is home to Equinor, DNB, Telenor, and Aker Group — global companies with branded merchandise and uniform programmes across multiple countries. Bergen drives Norway's maritime economy. The Norwegian hospitality sector spans fjord tourism, urban hotels, and one of Europe's highest concentrations of ski resorts. Norway's outdoor and sustainability culture means quality and OEKO-TEX certification are expected, not optional.

Corporate and multi-office companies

Norwegian companies with offices across Europe and internationally need consistent branded merchandise at every location. Equinor, DNB, Telenor, and Aker Group operate globally. Our factory spec travels with the brand: one Pantone reference, same 280 GSM cotton hoodie in Oslo, London, and Houston.

Hospitality and ski resorts

Norway's hospitality sector runs large uniform programmes across hotel groups and ski resorts. Nordic Choice Hotels (200+ properties), Thon Hotels (70+ properties), and resort operators at Voss, Trysil, and Geilo all run seasonal staff uniform programmes. OEKO-TEX certified cotton pique polos and branded hoodies built to last 150+ wash cycles.

Amusement parks and entertainment venues

Norway's entertainment venues run seasonal staff programmes at scale. Tusenfryd (near Oslo) and Kongeparken (Stavanger) are among the country's largest amusement parks. Factory-direct uniform pricing for seasonal and multi-site programmes. ACCORD certified production, documented for Norwegian CSR and procurement teams.

How factory-direct works for Norwegian businesses

1

Request a quote

Tell us the product, quantity, and decoration details. We respond with a factory-matched specification, OEKO-TEX status, ACCORD certification confirmation, and EUR pricing (with NOK reference) within 24 hours. Norwegian moms (MVA 25%) is excluded from the quote — it applies at import via your Norwegian customs process.

2

Approve the 3D render

Before production starts, you approve a photorealistic 3D render built from your factory specification. Fabric weight in GSM, Pantone colour reference, embroidery placement, stitch density. If anything is wrong, we fix it before the factory cuts a single piece. The approved render becomes your permanent tech pack.

3

Production with milestone updates

Photo updates at cutting, sewing, and quality control. Standard production is 4–8 weeks from 3D approval. Rush production is 7–10 days with a 15–25% surcharge noted in the quote. No surprises.

4

Delivery to Norway

Goods ship from Bangladesh to your Norwegian address. Bangladesh holds LDC status with Norway's own preferential GSP tariff — most cotton apparel categories enter Norway at 0% duty under Norway's LDC scheme. Sea freight via Oslo havn or Bergen havn takes 22–28 days; air freight is 3–5 days. We coordinate freight, customs documentation, and provide a full EUR landed cost breakdown before you confirm the order.

Questions from Norwegian buyers

Is OEKO-TEX certification available?

Yes. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is available across our full cotton product range and is noted on every quote. For Norwegian clients we treat OEKO-TEX as a baseline standard, not an add-on. ACCORD ethics certification covers all our Bangladesh factories. Documentation is available for corporate and public-sector procurement approval processes.

What are customs duties from Bangladesh to Norway?

Norway maintains its own LDC (Least Developed Country) GSP scheme. Bangladesh garments enter Norway at 0% duty under Norway's LDC preferential tariff — the same effective result as the EU EBA 0% rate, governed by Norwegian customs rather than EU customs. Norwegian moms (MVA at 25%) applies at import. Your quote includes the full landed cost in EUR.

Do you quote in NOK or EUR?

EUR by default. NOK reference is provided at the EUR/NOK rate on the quote date. The EUR amount is binding. Norwegian moms (MVA at 25%) applies at import via your Norwegian customs process and is excluded from our quote.

Is Bangladesh production ethical?

Our factories are ACCORD certified and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. The same production lines supply Hugo Boss, Adidas, H&M, Zara, and Levi's — brands that have audited Bangladesh factories for over 20 years. ACCORD documentation and OEKO-TEX certificates are available on request for Norwegian CSR and procurement teams.

How do reorders work? Will quality and colour be consistent?

Every order includes a permanent tech pack created at the 3D approval stage — Pantone reference, GSM specification, embroidery placement. When you reorder in 18 months, production runs from the same tech pack. Consistency on reorders is not a problem with factory-direct production because we own the specification, not a distributor.

What are the lead times to Norway?

Standard production is 4–8 weeks from 3D approval to delivery in Norway. Rush production is 7–10 days with a 15–25% surcharge noted in the quote. Sea freight from Bangladesh via Oslo havn or Bergen havn takes 22–28 days; air freight is 3–5 days. Both options are quoted with specific delivery date estimates.
