Why the distributor model costs you more

4imprint does not manufacture anything. They buy from factories, mark up the cost, and sell to you. There is an importer between the factory and 4imprint, and there is 4imprint between the importer and you. Every layer takes a margin.

The Merch Maverick cuts out both layers. You talk to us. We talk directly to our 12+ specialist factories. The savings — 30–50% on most product categories — come from removing those two markup layers, not from cutting corners on materials or production.

Our factories produce 280 GSM cotton hoodies for Reebok, 300 GSM cotton polos for Hugo Boss, and 340 GSM fleece for Carhartt. The same production lines. The same quality control. Without the brand premium.

Common questions

Why is The Merch Maverick cheaper than 4imprint?

4imprint is a distributor. They source from factories, add a margin, and pass that cost to you. The Merch Maverick works directly with 12+ specialist factories in Bangladesh — the same factories that produce for Nike, Hugo Boss, and Carhartt. No importer, no reseller layer. That is where the 30–50% cost difference comes from.

What is the minimum order quantity?

From 50 units for most product categories. Hospitality and uniform programs start from 25 units per style. 4imprint's MOQs vary by product — many start at 12–24 units but pricing only becomes competitive at 100+. Our pricing is transparent from 50 units upward.

How does the 3D approval process work?

Before a single unit enters production, you approve a photorealistic 3D render of your exact product — colorway, embroidery placement, label, and packaging. If it does not match your brief, production does not start. 4imprint sends physical samples, which adds time and does not guarantee the final run will match.

What is the lead time compared to 4imprint?

Standard production is 4–8 weeks, including shipping. Rush production is 7–10 days at a 15–25% surcharge. 4imprint's standard lead times for custom products run 3–5 weeks from approval — comparable for standard orders, but our rush capability is faster for urgent programs.

Can you handle multi-region orders (EU and US)?

Yes. One production run, shipped to multiple countries. We coordinate EU and US delivery from the same factory order, which eliminates the need for separate regional suppliers. 4imprint operates primarily in the US and Canada — EU orders go through a separate entity with separate pricing.
