Our story

Merch Maverick started from a simple frustration: too much branded merchandise looks good in a deck, then disappoints in real life. Too many buyers are forced to choose between generic reseller catalogs, weak material quality, unclear production visibility, and margin-killing middlemen.

We built the company to offer a better path: factory-owned production, stronger material direction, clearer approvals, and a process that helps brands feel more confident from the first brief to the final shipment.

Founder's story

Faiaz Yen, Founder and CEO of The Merch Maverick.

You could say I learned clothing with my mother's milk. My mum is a textile engineer, and I grew up watching her design, cut, sew, and solve real garment problems from childhood. Long before Merch Maverick existed, the production DNA was already there.

She was my biggest inspiration. From her I learned that great clothing is not judged by mockups alone. It is judged by material choice, fit, stitching, finishing, and whether the final product still feels right after real use.

That personal foundation still shapes how we build the company today: practical production thinking first, sales language second, and a constant focus on what the final product actually feels like in someone's hands.
